Latin Language Discovery for Middle School

Join us for an exploration of the Latin language, where we’ll connect to ancient roots through interactive assignments and discussions of Roman culture. Uncover Latin’s relationship to modern languages, including English, Spanish, French, Hindi and even coding languages. Tap into your creative side by designing visual aids for vocabulary terms and comic strips or skits for Latin stories. We’ll end our tour with presentations of your final project — an artistic creation, like a painting, mosaic, board game, or miniature catapult. Discover the many benefits of learning Latin, including increasing standardized test scores.
