Latin Language Discovery for Elementary School

Explore the wonders of language and learning by studying Latin. Learning Latin has many benefits, such as increasing standardized test scores and boosting your understanding of other languages (including coding languages). In this course, you’ll connect to ancient roots through interactive assignments, gaming and group collaboration. Discover Latin’s relationship to modern languages, including English, Spanish, French, Hindi and many others. You’ll create visual aids for vocabulary terms and comic strips or skits for Latin stories. We’ll also read and discuss various aspects of Roman culture. We’ll finish our experience together with a larger pop culture project where you’ll create and deliver a presentation on a movie, book series or video game that relates to the ancient world.
