STEAM Innovation Lab: Circuitry & Coding

Build and create in this foundational STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) course designed for young artists, engineers and anyone who likes to tinker. Dive into coding and robotics with the Sphero BOLT, a robot with programmable sensors and an LED matrix. Gain hands-on experience with block coding and JavaScript, and build valuable computational thinking and coding skills — all while taking on creative challenges. Design paper circuits that light up and develop STEAM skills through imaginative problem-solving in this course for young makers.

What You’ll Learn

  • Foundations of electrical circuits, coding and robotics
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills used in the design process
  • How to collaborate with peers to share ideas, tackle challenges and learn from one another
