DebateAble: Debate for Kids!
Debate empowers you to find your voice and listen to the voices of others. DebateAble courses use debate to teach critical thinking, public speaking and collaborative teamwork skills, all with a focus on keeping it fun.
You’ll spend the first week learning debate skills and format through games and other activities. The second week you’ll work with your team to prepare for a final live debate, with a top-secret topic to be revealed during the session. You must be able to participate in the final debate match on the last day.
UW Youth & Teen Programs is excited to partner with DebateAble, which brings its unique youth-focused curriculum to school districts from Seattle to Dallas and to schools across the country.
